You are invited to a briefing in your child’s new class which will give you information about what your child will be learning, the structure of their week and will also give you an opportunity to ask your child’s new teacher any questions.

The annual KS2 intra house cricket tournament will take place on Thursday 19th July.
Please could children come to school in their PE kits wearing their house colour t-shirt.
Children can remain in their PE kits for the reaminder of the day if they so wish.
We have made a booking to take the children from current Year 5 on a residential visit to Stackpole in Pembroke from Monday 19th November – Friday 23rd November 2018.
Stackpole is ideally situated with stunning views and well equipped classrooms and rooms with sweeping views of fields and farmland. There is plenty of space to play ball games outside, make bug homes and have camp fires, as well as a large hall for games in the evening.
The children will travel to Stackpole by coach, leaving Neston at 8.30am on Monday 19th November and arrive back at school by 4.30pm on Friday 23rd November 2018.

Maple Class assembly will be taking place on Tuesday 22nd May at 9.10am - all welcome!
Maple's Meet the Teacher will be held on Tuesday 4th July with Miss Turner at 2.45pm
Parents' evening for Willow, Oak, Chestnut and Maple classes will take place on the 13th and 15th June

Throughout the morning, everybody's methods improved and it was definitely a challenge for all. Well done Beech and Maple!
The children applied their science skills and knowledge really well and came up a wide range of solutions.
Last Friday Beech and Maple classes came one step closer to being able to survive on a deserted island with only muddy water to drink. Based on their science learning this term, they all invented water filters that would (hopefully) give them clean water to drink!
