Welcome back to a very exciting new phase in the life of Neston School. It has been a real pleasure to watch how quickly our delightful Willow class have settled in. It was lovely to be invited to a picnic in their classroom where plastic ice creams and coffee served in egg cups were the order of the day.
The building work is finished and the new playground will be completed by the end of next week. Children in Willow and Chestnut are thoroughly enjoying their new classrooms. If you haven’t had a chance to have a look at the new rooms, please feel free to pop down and take a look at the end of school after 3.15 pm. An official opening is at the planning stage; more news to follow!
Once the new playground is ready, Willow class and Chestnut class will be able to enter their classrooms in the morning by walking around the outside of the building, along the playground to their cloakroom entrances where their teachers will be ready to greet them. I will send a text so that parents are aware when the new route is ready.
Our year 6 children have had a fabulous time at Liddington on their residential trip. Raft building, zip wire and mountain biking are just a few of the exciting activities in which the children have been involved. I have been very impressed with the resourcefulness and the resilience which has been shown by our children, and a big ‘thank you’ goes to all our staff and the governor who have supported the children.
Thank you for your continued support.
